- All lessons are subject to availability and only deemed confirmed if you receive a confirmation from Chalet Ivy Hirafu.
- Please note all lessons are private unless specified. Also, only one discipline (i.e. skiers or snowboarders) with the same level will be put into the same private lesson.
- All persons in the lesson should have the same ability.
- Lift passes, lunch and ski gears are not included in the lesson fee.
- No compensation can be made for weather conditions or other operational conditions outside the control of Chalet Ivy and the ski schools.
- By submitting this form, you understand that skiing and snowboarding are hazardous sports and that you agree that neither Chalet Ivy, the instructors nor the ski schools providing the lessons shall be held liable for any lost or stolen equipment, accident, injury or injury resulting in death that occurs before, during or after the lesson.
- Cancellation within 8 to 14 days of the lesson date: 50% cancellation charge
- Cancellation within 7 to 4 days of the lesson date: 70% cancellation charge
- Cancellation within 3 days of the lesson date: 100% cancellation charge
- All cancellations during peak season (December 15 to February 7): Non-refundable
- Dates and Time are based on Japanese Standard Time (GMT+9)
- If the ski area is closed due to operational or weather-related reasons, the ski school may need to reschedule or cancel the lesson. In such cases, the cancellation policy will not apply.

Start time availability: 8:30 / 9:00 / 9:30 / 10:00

– Up to 4 people of the same ski/snowboard level can participate in the same lesson
– Instructors will conduct lessons tailored to your wishes & level (based on the least experienced member of the group)
– Suitable for all levels
Backcountry Guiding
Price: ¥80,000
Start time availability: 8:30 / 9:00 / 9:30
Additional Notes:
– 1 hour extension available at JPY 17,000; To be discussed with the guide at the end of the session if extension is required.
– Groups larger than 4 participants are subject to availability. Additional fees will also apply.
– Certified ski guides will take you to off-piste areas.
– Geared towards those at an advanced level who are comfortable skiing anywhere.
– Must start and finish at Grand Hirafu
3 Hour Cruising
Price: ¥48,000
Start time availability: 8:30 / 9:00 / 13:00
Additional Notes:
– 1 hour extension available at JPY 17,000
– Groups larger than 4 participants are subject to availability. Additional fees will also apply.
– Instructors will bring you cruising within the resort boundaries. Geared towards those at an intermediate/advanced level who are comfortable skiing on all courses.
